Torstol seeds can be planted in a herb patch with level 85 Farming in order to produce grimy torstols. It can be obtained from monsters or as a very rare loot from pickpocketing Master Farmers.
Note: It is not possible to pay a nearby gardener to watch over herb patches, nor will a fully-grown white lily plant protect them from disease.
Picking some torstol from the patch north of East Ardougne is part of the elite Ardougne Diary.

Average harvest yield
Torstol has a minimum of 3 harvest lives, increasing by 1 for each tier of compost used (for a maximum of 6 when using ultracompost). While harvesting torstol, there is a chance to not consume a harvest life dependent on the player's Farming level. This chance scales from 28.1% at level 1 to 31.6% at level 99, interpolating linearly in between.
