A trip hammer found within the Giants' Foundry, it is used to shape sword preforms during the minigame. It is always the first station to be used when starting a new sword. The trip hammer is represented by the colour red, and is used when the temperature and progress gauges are in red regions on the Giants' Foundry GUI. If the preform is held under the hammer and it slams down when either gauge is outside of that range then it will deal damage to it, reducing the quality of the sword. While using the trip hammer the preform's temperature will decrease after every increment to the progress.

Initially it is unusable, however during the quest Sleeping Giants, the player repairs the trip hammer using 1 oak log and 5 nails.
