Kovac's grog is a type of ale that restores 1 Hitpoint and temporarily boosts Smithing by 4 while draining Attack, Ranged, and Magic by 2. This provides the second highest Smithing boost available, surpassing the mature dwarven stout's 2-level boost. Furthermore, this is a reliable boost, unlike orange spicy stew which may boost or drain the player by up to 5 levels when 3 dashes of orange spice are added.

It can be purchased from the Giants' Foundry reward shop for 300 Foundry Reputation. Each serving of Kovac's grog is worth 62,496 coins, or 208.32 coins per Reputation point.

Upon drinking the grog, a message in the chatbox will state You drink Kovac's grog. It tastes like giants' feet.

This item cannot be traded back to the shop for Foundry Reputation. Ironman players are presented with an Easter egg message if they try to exchange the grog for Foundry Reputation.
