Hekala was the dragon steed of Ablenkian,[1] a dragon rider. During the Second and Third Age the pair served Zaros loyally and had saved many of their allies in conflicts.[1] During the battle of Carrallanger in the early Third Age, Ablenkian rode Hekala into battle, saving Corveth from a burning tower.[2] Eventually however, this led to her demise, as Corveth would later betray Ablenkian.[3]
