Adamant gloves are culinaromancer's gloves, requiring 13 Defence to equip, and can be purchased from the Culinaromancer's Chest after completion of six Recipe for Disaster subquests. These are the lowest tier of gloves that are superior to the combat bracelet for melee.
As with all Culinaromancer's gloves, this piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill.

Trivia
- Previously, the only way to obtain these gloves with less than 13 Defence was through bug abuse to avoid the post-quest experience rewards from Daero after Monkey Madness I, which was a requirement for Freeing King Awowogei. Because of this, attempting to equip the gloves with less than 13 Defence shows the message: Your Defence level is not sufficient to let you use those gloves without completing your unfinished business with Daero. While an update later made it possible to return to Ape Atoll without getting the experience from Daero, the 13 Defence requirement was kept on the item.
