Daero is the new tree guardian of the Tree Gnome Stronghold, who is found at Blurberry's Bar on the 1^st floor^[UK]2^nd floor^[US] of the Grand Tree. Unlike the former tree guardian, Glough, he is friendly towards humans and other non-gnomes. Daero plays an important role in the Monkey Madness I quest. He is also a customer in the Gnome Restaurant minigame. He is the gnome that blindfolds and escorts the player to the hangar, which houses the glider that flies you to Crash Island.

Daero's Training

After completion of Monkey Madness I you can speak to him again in the Tree Gnome Stronghold to receive an experience reward in Strength, Hitpoints, Attack, and Defence. He will give you 20,000 XP in all four skills and let you choose between either Strength and Hitpoints or Attack and Defence to receive an extra 15,000 XP for.
