The Monkey Child is a small monkey found on the remote island of Ape Atoll. He can be found wandering in the garden close to his aunt and uncle. He takes an enormous and vital role in the Monkey Madness Iquest in which he lets the player, who he mistakes for his 'uncle,' "borrow" a monkey talisman, used to create a monkey greegree. In exchange for the talisman, he asks for 20 bananas. He cannot count, however, and will sometimes accept as few as 4, and at most 10 bananas.
If you drop the monkey talisman and tell the child that you lost it, he begins to cry. However, if you wait until the next time his aunt leaves or log out and back in, he will cease crying. You can then ask him for another talisman, which he will give to you if you promise to return it. A lot of players use this method gain more than one talisman, although players can also buy talismans from Tutab's Magical Market.
If you give him back the talisman he will thank you and give you a hug, saying "I love you, uncle." However, the next time the player talks to him, he will not remember that you returned it and the dialogue options will show as if you never returned it to him.
Somehow, the monkey will recognise you even if you are wielding a monkey greegree.
