Dallas Jones is a researcher from Varrock, whose area of expertise lies in dragons. He chose this area of expertise because his father used to live on Crandor, before its destruction, and his death left him with great interest in dragons. He has spent the last fifteen years trying to learn more about the dragon race.

During Dragon Slayer II, he investigates the destruction of Crandor. He is located in the Karamja Wines, Spirits, and Beers pub on Musa Point, where he will give the player a brief summary of Dragon Slayer I. After spoken to, he will appear in Elvarg's den underneath Crandor.

He is ultimately killed by Galvek immediately after Zorgoth awakens the dragon.

• His name is a reference to the movie franchise and its eponymous protagonist, Indiana Jones.
  • It is currently unknown if he is related in any way to Louisiana 'Anna' Jones, another researcher with an Indiana Jones-themed name.
