The fox whistle is a rare reward from the Poachers Forestry event. It is used on the beaver pet in order to allow it to metamorphose into a fox.

There is a chance to retrieve a fox whistle at the end of the event, provided a player is eligible to receive the reward from it; this scales between 1/90 to 1/45 from level 1 to 99 Woodcutting.^[1] Upon receiving one, it will be placed in the inventory (or on the ground if it is full), and a game message in the chatbox will state Well done, you've saved the fox from the poachers! The fox has left you a gift... You feel a connection to the fox as if it wishes to travel with you...

It can be sold to the forestry shop for 250 anima-infused bark.

As they have been removed, trap disarmers are no longer required to receive the fox whistle.
