A gold satchel is a drop from jubsters, which can be created in the basement of the Tower of Life after completing the Tower of Life quest. When equipped, it will also enhance the beckon emote.

It can hold a banana, a cake and triangle sandwich, which heal a total of 20 hitpoints. It takes multiple bites to consume the food, but it is much cheaper than most food that heals a similar amount.

Multiple satchels of the same type do not stack in the bank, no matter what their contents are. It also cannot be placed into Group storage, despite being a tradeable item.

Trivia

• Contrary to its name, the Satchel cannot be made from a gold bar, nor does it provide any bonuses. The "Gold" may instead refer to its shade of colour, rather than the material it's made of.
