Money making guide/Farming Yanillian hops

This guide assumes an average of 27 hops from each patch, hence 108 hops in total per run. Profit per hour may vary depending on your yield.

Farming Yanillian hops can be a very profitable way to spend a few minutes at a time. Magic secateurs help increase profits due to the 10% boost to crop yield. The expected yield at higher Farming levels is significantly higher than at the minimum Farming requirement. Players may also choose to plant an attas seed in the anima patch of the Farming Guild, which will increase the expected yield to 32 hops per plant on average, for a total of 128 hops per run.

Players should bring 16 Yanillian seeds, 4 baskets of tomatoes, and means of teleportation. Then, players can start their hops run at any hops patch withdrawing any additional supplies needed from the tool leprechaun. After planting, remember to apply the ultracompost and pay the nearby farmer for protection before moving on to the next patch.

An example of a hops run is provided below:

1. Use the chronicle to teleport to the Champions' Guild, then run south to the Lumbridge farm patch.
2. Break a Camelot teleport tablet and run north-west to the patch above McGrubor's Wood.
3. Teleport to Castle Wars using a ring of dueling, take the balloon outside to Entrana, then run south to the patch.
4. Break a Watchtower teleport tablet to arrive near the centre of Yanille.

Keep in mind that players who haven't completed the hard Ardougne diary yet will need level 16 Agility in order to cross the underwall tunnel into Yanille.
