The Ranging Guild is an encampment located between Seers' Village and East Ardougne. Level 40 Ranged is required to enter, though this can be boosted. Inside, there are several shops, a minigame, and a training area.
Getting there
- A charged combat bracelet will teleport just outside the entrance.
- Skills necklace teleport to the Fishing Guild and walk north-east.
- Camelot Teleport and run west.
- Ardougne cloak 2, 3 or 4 teleport to the Ardougne farm patch and run north.
- Charter ship to Catherby and run west.
- Fairy Ring ALS into McGrubor's Wood and run south.
Shops
Basic Ranged equipment and armour and tan hides may be purchased from four different non-player characters in the Ranging Guild.
Tannery
The Leatherworker in the northern aspect of the guild functions as a tannery, although there is no nearby bank and there is no right-click option to use this tannery.
Shield master
The Shield master can be found here, and he will introduce players to leather shields. If asked, he can give a leather shields flyer, which details the materials needed to create each shield, although speaking to him is not required to craft or equip leather shields.
Minigame
Shooting Range
Pay 200 coins to the Competition Judge for 10 bronze arrows to use with bow to shoot at the nearby targets, earning 0-1,000 points. This yields 1 Ranged experience for every 2 points, and 1 Archery ticket for every 10 points. The tickets can be used to purchase merchandise from the Ranging Guild Ticket Exchange.
Training Areas
Tower Archers
On the top floor of the Ranging Guild, Tower Archers on four different platforms may be fought. The weakest archers are located to the north, while the strongest archers are west. Ranged or Magic attacks with an attack range of at least 9 must be used to hit the archers. The archers fire iron to adamant arrows at the player, which may be collected.
Trivia
- The Ranging Guild used to be where the Fletching cape could be purchased, until it was later moved due to player complaints that they have 99 Fletching but do not have the ranging requirements.
