Money making guide/Farming jute fibre
Lua error in ...ribunto/includes/Engines/LuaCommon/lualib/mwInit.lua at line 23: bad argument #1 to 'old_ipairs' (table expected, got nil). This guide assumes 27 bundles of fibre from each patch, hence an average of 135 jute fibres per crop run. Keep in mind that profit may vary depending on your yield, and this guide does account for losses resulting from dead crops.
Farming jute fibres can be a very profitable way to spend a few minutes at a time. Magic secateurs help increase profits due to the 10% boost to crop yield. The expected yield at higher Farming levels is significantly higher than at the minimum Farming requirement. Players may also choose to plant an attas seed in the anima patch of the Farming Guild, which will increase the expected yield to 32 fibres per plant on average, for a total of 128 hops per run.
Players should bring 15 jute seeds, a seed dibber, a spade, and means of teleportation. Then, players can start their hops run at any hops patch withdrawing any additional supplies needed from the tool leprechaun. After planting, remember to apply the ultracompost before moving on to the next patch. Protecting the plot of jute seeds is not recommended, instead relying solely on ultracompost is more cost effective.
An example of a hops run is provided below:
- Use the chronicle to teleport to the Champions' Guild, then run south to the Lumbridge farm patch.
- Break a Camelot teleport tablet and run north-west to the patch above McGrubor's Wood.
- Teleport to Castle Wars using a ring of dueling, take the balloon outside to Entrana, then run south to the patch.
- Break a Watchtower teleport tablet to arrive near the centre of Yanille.
- Use fairy ring CKQ or the Quetzal Transport System to travel to Aldarin.
Keep in mind that players who haven't completed the hard Ardougne diary yet will need level 16 Agility in order to cross the underwall tunnel into Yanille.
