Paladins participate in the assault on Ungael during the closing chapter of Dragon Slayer II, as members of the force sent by the current king of Kandarin – either King Lathas or King Thoros – to join the combined fleet of Gielinor.

The paladins are only seen during the opening cutscene of the assault, pacing on the deck of a ship next to an Asgarnian one crewed by White Knights. After the initial strike by the three chromatic dragons sent by Zorgoth however, they are not encountered again while crossing the shipwrecks. On some of the wrecked vessels, the remains of paladins fallen in battle are discovered instead. In contrast to the soldiers of the Varrock militia, it would seem the paladins were not equipped with anti-dragon shields prior to embarking.
