Pineapple seeds may be grown into a pineapple plant which gives pineapples. Level 51 Farming is required to plant it; planting it in a fruit tree patch gives 57 Farming experience.
A nearby gardener will watch over your growing pineapple plant at the cost of 10 watermelons either noted or unnoted.
To plant it, you must use it with a plant pot filled with dirt while having a gardening trowel in your inventory, then water it with a watering can to get a pineapple seedling. Then wait for approximately 5 minutes for it to become a pineapple sapling. Transfer the sapling to the patch. It takes 960 minutes (roughly 16 hours) to finish growing, although it can sometimes take up to 30 hours. A standard 6 pineapples grow from the plant. You can visually see each of the 6 pineapples being taken from the stalk as it is harvested. After it is fully grown, checking the health yields 4,605 experience.
They can be obtained by looting Magpie implings or bird nests.
