Wizard robes are sets of magic armour. They have no requirements to wear, and they come in blue or black version. Trimmed and gold-trimmed pieces are available as possible rewards from easy Treasure Trails. With the appropriate substitutions, the wizard robes offer the best Magic attack bonus of any armour on free-to-play worlds. However, some players prefer the Zamorak monk robes for its balance between Magic attack and Prayer.
The blue and black skirts are inadvisable, as they give no stat bonuses at all. The Zamorak monk bottom may be used instead for a +2 bonus to Magic attack. Alternatively, leather chaps offer slight defence bonuses with no penalty to Magic attack and are far cheaper than the Zamorak monk bottom.
The wizard robes only include items for the head, body, and legs slots. It is recommended to use this armour (and any armour) with a neck slot item, as most neck items are of negligible weight, with many cheap options. The amulet of magic is a good choice on free-to-play worlds, as it adds a +10 bonus to Magic attack.
All sets have the same stats.
