Surgeon General Tafani is the lead surgeon at the Emir's Arena hospital. She, along with Jaraah and the nurses Sabreen and A'abla, can heal players if they have lost hitpoints (but cannot cure poison). They can heal players who are not playing the minigame, and can be useful to players fighting in the nearby area. The healing is free of charge.

Tafani, as the master of Hitpoints, sells the Hitpoints cape to players with level 99 in Hitpoints for 99,000.

Trivia

• Tafani is one of only four female NPCs that sells a Cape of Accomplishment, the other three being the Hunting expert, Twiggy O'Korn, and Kuradal.
• Despite being a surgeon, her examine options refers to her as a nurse.
• When she heals a player she appears to be using the same animation that is used to pickpocket an NPC.
• Her hat is almost identical with Nurse hat, which is obtained from A Tail of Two Cats.
