Broodoo victims are undead creatures which appear during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. They can be found while cutting light, medium or dense jungle bushes. They use Magic attacks which can drain a player's combat stats. They are highly resistant to conventional attack methods (the player's max hit is reduced to 3), but certain consumables can be used on them to damage them: white Broodoo victims can be damaged by food items; green victims by poison cures; and yellow victims finally by disease cures.
When using the correct consumable on the victim, they will suffer a high amount of damage, dependent on the specific type of consumable that is used (see the sections below). If the message Nothing interesting happens. appears in the chatbox instead, check that the correct kind of consumable is used on the Broodoo victim.
If a player wishes to fight Broodoo victims without using items, a fast weapon such as darts are best due to the low damage they take. They can be inflicted with poison or venom to add more damage over time. Protect from Magic will make the player immune to their attacks, as well as preventing stat drain. There is a Tribal Statue in the area that can be used to recharge Prayer points after completing the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.
If a player uncovers a Broodoo victim and leaves the area without killing it, it may remain there for up to 50 minutes, and will be aggressive to any players that go near it.[1] For this reason, lower level players are advised to be careful when travelling around Tai Bwo Wannai.
Weaknesses
White victims
White Broodoo victims have a 4/100 of spawning each time the event table is rolled while clearing away the jungle. The white victims can be damaged with food. This includes cooked food and other food items such as bananas that players can normally eat to heal. Drinks that can heal players such as beer will not work. Calquat fruit also works. Twice the damage dealt to these victims with food is received as Cooking experience. A gout tuber can be fed to the victim.
The amount of damage a certain item of food can inflict is determined by its item category: the highest damage range for instance is inflicted by pieces of fruit or vegetables, any of which will deal between 10 and 35 damage when fed to a white Broodoo victim.[2] As a result, bringing along a sack of cabbages or potatoes allows one to concentrate a large damage potential against this victim in only one or two inventory slots.
Green victims
Green Broodoo victims have a 3/100 of spawning each time the event table is rolled while clearing away the jungle. The green victims can be damaged with any type of antipoison potion that is not a barbarian mix. Poison cures that are not potions – such as strange fruit and Guthix rest – likewise cannot be used to damage green victims. They will only take one dose at a time. If the player has completed the Druidic Ritual quest, twice the damage dealt to these victims with antipoison is received as Herblore experience.
The amount of damage that can be inflicted on a green victim is dependent on the type of poison cure that is used, as is laid out in the table below.

Yellow victims
Yellow Broodoo victims have a 2/100 of spawning each time the event table is rolled while clearing away the jungle. The yellow victims can be damaged with Relicym's balm or Sanfew serum. They will only take one dose at a time. If the player has completed the Druidic Ritual quest, twice the damage dealt to these victims with Relicym's balm is received as Herblore experience.
