The Chaos Golem is one of the golems found in the Ruins of Camdozaal. It can be found by awakening the Rubble lying in the far south-east section of Camdozaal, south of the body golems.
When you walk far away from an awakened golem without killing it, it will disintegrate as if it died, without dropping any loot.
Chaos golems are notable for dropping the barronite guard, needed for construction of the barronite mace, and for dropping chaos cores, used in training Runecraft.

Safespotting
It is possible to safespot the golems using Magic, Ranged, or a halberd. To safespot the golem, awaken the golem north of the player in the first picture, then run south to the marked tile. This works as the golem always aligns their south-western corner with you. Another spot is the south-east golem, shown in the second picture. Wake them up and run to the east 2 tiles. It is also possible to use other inactive golems as safespots.

Trivia
- Since these monsters start as an unaggressive NPC as a rubble pile, the first click on them to awaken them doesn't put you into combat.
- Instead, you must click on them a second time to enter combat or wait for them to attack you. This directly reduces the speed of AFK training on these monsters and it is therefore not recommended.
- If you try to awaken more than one golem, you get a message that you are already in combat with another golem and there isn't time to awaken another, even if you haven't actually entered combat; however because you aren't actually in combat until either you or they attack, it is possible to awaken a golem and then immediately logout. Upon logging in again, the awakened golem will have despawned.
