A cursed amulet of magic is an amulet dropped by necromancers in Great Kourend. It provides the lowest magic damage bonus for any item at -80%.

The amulet's extreme penalty to magic damage notably drops the maximum hit of Wind Strike above level 13 Magic from 8 to 2. This allows Wind Strike to be used alongside the serpentine helm to apply venom to most NPCs, while still allowing them to regenerate to maximum Hitpoints — a technique used to envenom while still giving kill credit to restricted accounts such as Ironmen and certain pures.
