Gnome gliders are a method of transportation available after completing The Grand Tree quest. They can fly to many locations and can be used in combination with teleport spells, spirit trees, and the fairy ring network to quickly travel across Gielinor.
The fastest way to access the glider network is by either taking the royal seed pod and climbing up to the top floor (requiring Monkey Madness II), or using a ring of dueling to teleport to Emir's Arena and running south-west, both of which take approximately 15 seconds.

Efficient travel
Like various other teleportation methods, the gnome gliders can be used for efficient travel, especially when doing tasks such as farming runs. The following table compares methods of reaching a glider:
Method | Captain | Time | Object/Spell or tablet |
---|---|---|---|
Teleport to Grand Tree, climb up three floors | Captain Errdo | 12s | Royal seed pod |
Teleport to Emir's Arena, run south-west | Captain Dalbur | 13s | Ring of dueling |
Teleport to Al Kharid Palace, run northwest | Captain Dalbur | 17s* | Amulet of glory |
Teleport to Feldip Hills, run north around the pond | Gnormadium Avlafrim | 23s* | Feldip hills teleport scroll |
Teleport to the Legends' Guild, take the Fairy
Ring to Feldip Hills, run north1 |
Gnormadium Avlafrim | 23s* | Quest point cape, Dramen staff** |
Teleport to Temple of Marimbo, run west | Captain Shoracks | 33s | Standard Ape Atoll Teleport |

to the Gnome Stronghold, climb up three floors |
Captain Errdo | 42s | Varrock Teleport |
Teleport to Ape Atoll Dungeon, run north-west | Captain Shoracks | 46s | Arceuus Ape Atoll Teleport |
1Teleporting to the fairy ring in a player-owned house may be faster, based on the location of the superior garden and how fast the house loads.
*This route may take a second or two longer if gates or doors need to be opened or if the captain has wandered.
**A lunar staff can also be used, or no staff if the Lumbridge & Draynor elite diary is completed.
