Metamorphic dust is a tertiary drop obtained upon completing a Chambers of Xeric raid in Challenge Mode. It is used on an Olmlet to allow it to metamorphose into Tektiny, Enraged Tektiny, Vespina, Flying Vespina, a vanguard, a puppadile or Vasa Minirio.

Players who complete the Challenge Mode raid within a set amount of time will have a chance of receiving metamorphic dust, regardless of whether they own an Olmlet or not. In addition, only one metamorphic dust is required to obtain the ability to metamorphose an olmlet into all other five pets.

Provided that the raid is completed below the time limit, each player in the raid has a 1/400 chance to obtain the metamorphic dust. The metamorphic dust rolls in addition to other items; it may be obtained alongside a unique reward or standard loot.

The completion time required to have a chance of receiving metamorphic dust are as follows:
