Spine mushroom can be found throughout the Tar Swamp on Fossil Island. They can deal up to 10 damage to players adjacent to them as well as inflict poison. As they are often in the paths where players chop Sulliusceps, some food and a way of curing poison is recommended when chopping them.

This object is 4 tiles wide meaning it is impossible to Run trick over its attacking zone.

Only 5 of these mushrooms can attack the player, these can be differentiated by a wiggling animation:

1. The mushroom west of the first Sulliuscep that the player chops
2. The mushroom south of the first Sulliuscep that the player chops
3. The mushroom west of the second Sulliuscep
4. The mushroom west of the third Sulliuscep
5. The mushroom east of the fourth Sulliuscep
