Overview

Mining is heavily modified by two tier 1 relics.

Endless Harvest makes obtaining ore twice as fast and removes banking time.
Production Master is not directly beneficial to Mining training.
Skilling Prodigy allows players to mine more quickly due to its +12 visible level boost.

Pickaxes cannot be made using the Smithing skill. The following tables detail common methods to obtain pickaxes in the Trailblazer League:

Black pickaxe	11	10	Reward casket (easy) or rarely from reward casket (beginner).
Mithril pickaxe	21	20	Eclectic implings at level 50 Hunter or rarely from earth implings at level 36 Hunter.
Adamant pickaxe	31	30	Rock golem in the Enchanted Valley, or rarely from reward casket (medium).
Rune pickaxe	41	40	Rock golem in the Enchanted Valley. For alternatives see below.
Dragon pickaxe	61	60	Unobtainable in Misthalin. See below.

A Rune pickaxe is the best available pickaxe unless unlocking the Wilderness. A rune pickaxe can be acquired in the following ways:

Amulet of glory(4)	Asgarnia✓ OR Fremennik✓	A charged amulet of glory significantly increases the speed at which a player can mine gem rocks. Also increases the chance of randomly finding uncut gems while mining. A glory can only be charged if Heroes' Quest is completed, which is auto-unlocked in the Fremennik region or can be manually completed in the Asgarnia region.
Dragon pickaxe	Wilderness✓	Boosts Mining by 3. Only obtainable from Callisto, Venenatis, Vet'ion, Chaos Elemental, or King Black Dragon.
Infernal pickaxe	Wilderness✓ Asgarnia✓	Boosts Mining by 3. Requires 85 Firemaking, a dragon pickaxe, and Cerberus' smouldering stones, which may also be obtained from hellhounds^or albeit very rarely.
