Wild pie is a type of pie that restores 22 Hitpoints in total, 2 bites each healing for 11. It also temporarily boosts Slayer by 5 levels, the highest boost available, and Ranged by 4 levels. A pie dish will remain after both bites are consumed. It can be obtained by baking a raw wild pie on a cooking range requiring level 85 Cooking and granting 240 experience when successful. When cooking there is a chance to fail, resulting in burnt pie. The burn rate decreases as the player's Cooking level increases. Wild pies never stop burning altogether even at level 99, unless the player is wearing a Cooking cape. Alternatively, casting the Bake Pie spell from the lunar spellbook will always create a pie without burning it.
The Slayer boost can be used to kill higher level Slayer monsters, but the boost does not enable you to receive a Slayer task from a Slayer Master above your level.
Wild pies are popular for fighting the chaos elemental or chaos fanatic as the empty pie dish prevents their special attacks from un-equipping Worn Equipment due to a full inventory.
Baking a wild pie at the Nardah clay oven is a requirement for the Elite Desert Diary.
