A player in the Creature Graveyard.

In the Creature Graveyard, players must collect 4 different types of bones from bone piles around the room, and use the Bones to Bananas or Bones to Peaches spells to turn them into bananas or peaches respectively. The fruits must then be deposited in the slots along the walls of the room to gain Pizazz points.

The bone piles cycle through 4 bone types, giving four of one type before advancing to the next. The bone types are worth 1, 2, 3 or 4 fruit per bone, respectively; these amounts can be seen in the interface in the bottom-right of the screen.

For every 16 bananas deposited, and for every 8 peaches deposited, the player gains one Graveyard Pizazz point instantly, and one water, earth, nature, death or blood rune will be given when leaving the room. Sets of 16 or 8 fruit can be spread across multiple deposits; however, the points gained seem to be capped to a maximum of 3 per deposit. This means depositing 27 peaches at once has the same effect as depositing 24.

Players will regularly be hit for 2 damage by falling bones, which can be avoided by moving away from the tile that the bones are falling on. Dying in the room is a safe death, including for Hardcore Ironmen[1], but will result in a penalty of 10 Pizazz points. As with the other rooms of the Mage Training Arena, teleporting out is not allowed.

Recommended items

Bones to Bananas strategy

Upon entering, head a short way west to the deposit slot. Take bones from the nearest pile, ignoring the other piles. The aim is to take enough bones to fill the inventory with bananas, cast Bones to Bananas, then deposit the fruit in the slot.

The simplest strategy is to take 13 bones between each cast, since this amount will always convert to at least 28 bananas, guaranteeing a full inventory worth. Depositing a set of 27 bananas grants on average 1.6875 Pizazz points.

Players will occasionally take small amounts of damage from falling bones. These can be avoided by moving out the way, or players can simply tank the damage and eat food when necessary, restocking from the bank chest in the upstairs area of the Arena. It is possible to take a break in the room by leaving open the dialogue box that appears when depositing fruit, which stalls damage.

This method can give up to 520 Pizazz points per hour.

Bones to Peaches strategy

Use the same strategy as with Bones to Bananas, but instead take 12 bones between casts. This guarantees at least 24 peaches, which will always give 3 points per deposit (peaches in excess of 24 in a single deposit are wasted).

As peaches heal 8 hitpoints players should not require much additional food, if any.

This method can give up to 1040 Pizazz points per hour.

Because the points per deposit is capped at 3, there is extra points gained from depositing 25-27 peaches. (Additional peaches do give XP)

The following rotation starts with the bone first bone worth 3 points in a pile and maximizes the points per peach in a repeating pattern every 9th cast

Cycle Bones to pick up Peaches deposited
1 7 24
2 12 25
3 10 25
4 9 26
5 12 26
6 8 24
7 11 26
8 11 24
