UIM Guide

Achievement Diaries can be very beneficial as an Ultimate Iron Man. Completion of diaries will give unique rewards, experience, and unlocks certain content.

Completing diaries is generally the same as regular players, but there are a few tasks that are uniquely challenging for ultimate iron men.

Early Game

Completion of easy diaries is often helpful for new accounts. All diaries have relatively low requirements and give experience lamps to be used on any skill. The Easy Ardougne Diary reward is often used for a close teleport to a fairy ring, spirit tree, and altar.

Runecraft

Completing Runecrafting tasks often requires 28 free inventory spaces. This can be achieved by Death Piling (see Ultimate_Ironman_Guide/Item_Management). Alternatively, players can use the Raiments of the eye set from the Guardians of the Rift minigame. See Raiments_of_the_Eye#Impact_on_Achievement_Diary_tasks for more info.

All Elemental Runes creation tasks are reduced significantly with the full Runecraft set.

Certain Catalytic Runes creation tasks levels are not reduced, however having more pieces of the set reduces inventory space required. With the full set, only 18 pure essence is required.
