A player wearing the Inquisitor's armour.

The Inquisitor's armour is a set of armour requiring 70 Strength and 30 Defence to equip. While the armour has unimpressive defensive stats, around adamant equipment's values, it shares the same strength bonuses as bandos armour and specializes in crush attack and defence. It also has a higher prayer bonus than bandos armour. The pieces can be obtained as a potential reward from The Nightmare and its harder counterpart.

The armour has a set effect in which each piece of the set boosts damage and accuracy by 0.5% when using the crush attack style. If all three pieces are worn, an additional 1.0% bonus is added for a total of 2.5% accuracy and damage bonus (7.5% if using the inquisitor's mace), making it very effective at places where the player is using crush weapons, and is not likely to be attacked, takes minimal damage or can pray against incoming attacks.

The armour once belonged to Phosani, the Justiciar of the Wolf, who defected to Zamorak and founded Slepe after; the armour had remained sealed in the Sisterhood Sanctuary deep beneath Slepe until The Nightmare's arrival unearthed it. As such, the set pieces count as Zamorakian items for the God Wars Dungeon.
