Four Penance caves appear in the Barbarian Assault minigame. These are the caves from which the Penance spawn:

The most western cave is where Penance Rangers spawn. The cave east of that is where Penance Fighters spawn.

On waves 1-9, the most eastern cave is where Penance Healers spawn, and the cave west of that is where Penance Runners spawn.

On wave 10, the Penance Runners spawn from the most eastern cave, and the Penance Healers spawn from the cave west of that.

Mechanics

The player with the defender role can use logs and a hammer to block the caves. No monsters will spawn from a blocked cave. Any player can then demolish the barricade. The defender can then repair the barricade again using more logs.
