A green egg is used in Barbarian Assault to damage penance monsters. If loaded into the egg launcher and shot at penance creatures, it will deal 1 damage and poison the target. If shot at a Penance Runner, Penance Fighter, or Penance Ranger, the poison will hit every 3 seconds a total of 5 times unless healed. If shot at a Penance Healer, the poison will hit every 18 seconds a total of 5 times. Green egg poison is in addition to poisoned food damage, and will not reset, reduce, or delay damage. A maximum of five green eggs may be loaded into the egg launcher at any given time. Both egg launchers share the same reserve of eggs.

Green eggs tend to be used when no red eggs are available, as they deal less damage and can only damage one enemy at a time.
