Broad arrows can be purchased from any Slayer Master, and are the only arrows which can damage Turoths and Kurasks. Their strength is between mithril arrows and adamant arrows.

They require a Slayer level of 55 and a Ranged level of 50 to equip. They can be shot from magic bows or higher.

They can be purchased from any Slayer master for 60 coins each or 35 Slayer reward points for a set of 250. Players can also unlock the Broader Fletching ability for 300 points to be able to fletch their own broad arrows from broad arrowheads and headless arrows. This requires level 52 Fletching and yields 10 Fletching experience per arrow, or 150 experience per set of 15.

Fletching broad arrows is a common method for ironmen to obtain Fletching experience, as the broad arrowheads can easily be bought in bulk while other metals take longer to collect and smith into arrowheads. At high efficiency, up to 42,800 broad arrows can be made per hour, granting up to 428,000 experience per hour. If starting from arrowshafts and feathers, this drops to 21,400 arrows and 235,000 experience per hour.

Dying in above level 20 Wilderness will turn the arrows into coins at a rate of 2 coins per arrow.
