Trivia
Soft clay packs were once tradeable upon release and could be sold to Prospector Percy for golden nuggets, effectively allowing players to buy golden nuggets using coins. This was not widely known or used until achievement diaries were released, where the prospector kit was required for the hard Falador Diary. It was first accepted by Jagex Moderators as an "unforeseen feature", but packs were changed to become untradeable in an update on 9 April2015, returning golden nuggets to their intended untradeable status.
Prior to an update in November 2023, the golden nugget yield rate was usually 7/256 (2.73%), although there were some levels (43, 57, 71, 85, 99) where the golden nugget yield was 8/256 (3.13%).
