The golden key is a quest item used only in Priest in Peril. It is dropped by a hooded Level 30 Monk of Zamorak in the Paterdomus Temple.

It is used to open the gate under Paterdomus after killing the Temple Guardian. After unlocking the gate for the first time, it is not required to be in the inventory to open the gate again.

Duplicates can be drop tricked by killing another monk to obtain another.
