Abyssal pearls are items obtained from the Rewards Guardian after completing a round of Guardians of the Rift. They are used to purchase items from Temple Supplies, the shop run by Apprentice Felix near the entrance to the minigame.

The rewards are helpful items for training Runecraft, including the Raiments of the Eye outfit pieces for a total of 1,350. The average number of Abyssal pearls per search is 2.14,[1] thus making 630 the average number of searches required to complete the full Raiments of the Eye set if no duplicate items or excess dyes are traded in.[2]

Alongside purchasing items in Temple Supplies, players may obtain the Abyssal lantern from Apprentice Felix for 1,500, through dialogue. Players may also sell Abyssal lanterns to Apprentice Felix for 100, and Abyssal dyes for 50.

Players may pay Apprentice Cordelia 1 to repair their essence pouches in place of the Dark Mage, after unlocking the service for an initial 25.

While Abyssal pearls cannot be traded or exchanged for coins, 400 can be used to purchase a Ring of the elements from Temple Supplies, which puts the value of an abyssal pearl at 2,706.74.
