Item ID26912

The lost bag is a cape slot item that can be obtained from an intricate pouch, which can be received from the Rewards Guardian after completing a round of Guardians of the Rift. It has no stat bonuses and is purely cosmetic.

The bag can be recoloured using abyssal dye (received from the Rewards Guardian) to a red, blue, or green colour scheme.

If the bag is destroyed, another can be obtained from Apprentice Felix. If the bag was recoloured before it was destroyed, then it will still be recoloured when it is reclaimed.

Part of the item's model was recoloured to its original intended colour, as part of a fix involving the implementation of detecting malformed recolours in the game's configs.

Trivia

  • The message seen when inspecting the bag is a reference to the similar-looking extradimensional bag: Mod Husky created it as part of the Second Inventory relic of the Trailblazer League (a custom order). However, it was scrapped due to a fatal bug found involving it shortly before release (unforeseen circumstances and a grave mistake on my part). Despite this, the item itself was added to the game with no functionality and no way to obtain it (I've put too much work into this for it to simply sit on a shelf and be admired by me alone). Hoping to repurpose the bag's appearance for another piece of content, Mod Husky added the lost bag as a reward from the Guardians of the Rift minigame, which he also co-developed (I intend to conjure a portal and thrust it in).
  • The bag resembles artwork of the 'Bag of Holding' from the tabletop game Dungeons and Dragons.
  • If players wish to obtain multiple bags for collection purposes, it's possible to do so by attempting to destroy the bag on a Free-to-play world, this will drop the bag to the ground and players can reclaim another from Apprentice Felix, allowing the player to pick up the one that was dropped to have multiple.
