Medium catalytic guardians are rune guardians that assist the Great Guardian as part of the Guardians of the Rift minigame.

They are assembled via the catalytic essence pile near the entrance whilst having a chisel and medium cell in the inventory. Doing so grants 100 Runecraft experience and 80 Crafting experience, as well as 15 catalytic energy.
