The Guardian of Cosmic is a portal guardian found within the Temple of the Eye. During a game of Guardians of the Rift, the Great Guardian may call upon the power of the Abyss to open the Guardian of Cosmic's portal, allowing access to the Cosmic Altar, which requires completion of the quest Lost City to enter.

Players may only enter the Guardian of Cosmic if its portal is active, unless they have a cosmic portal talisman in their inventory. In addition, players can right-click "Toggle-talisman" on the Guardian of Cosmic to toggle whether they wish to receive cosmic portal talismans or not from crafting at the Cosmic Altar.
