Catalytic guardian stones are items used to power-up the Great Guardian during a game of Guardians of the Rift, alongside elemental guardian stones and polyelemental guardian stones.

They are obtained by imbuing guardian essence at a catalytic runic altar, accessible directly by entering an active Portal Guardian.

Players are granted 5 Runecraft experience and 2 catalytic energy per catalytic guardian stone used to power-up the Great Guardian.

Mind, Body, Cosmic, Chaos, Nature, Law, Death and Blood Runes give Catalytic Energy.
