Scarab dung is an item that is dropped by Kephri in the Tombs of Amascut, in which the player receives one if they dealt the most damage to her.

A bucket of water is used on it to obtain the dawn scarab egg, which is part of obtaining the ancient key from the Bank Camel. Doing so requires having spoken to them after completing the miniquest Into the Tombs.
