Trailblazer Reloaded League presents unique decisions and challenges unlike most content in Old School RuneScape. Since players are restricted to just 5 of the 10 available areas, sacrifices will have to be made when it comes to training skills and making money. This guide aims to provide information about the league mechanics, different training methods, and money making guides based on the constraints within the league.

Getting started

The initial spawn location is at the Lumbridge Castle, which has a number of opportunities for low-level training. For example, nearby Men and Women can be pickpocketed for Thieving training, and Trees can be cut down to train Woodcutting. Just south-east of Lumbridge Castle is the Lumbridge Swamp, which has a beginner's mine and Fishing spots. Lumbridge is home to some of the first quests available in the League, including Cook's Assistant, Sheep Shearer, and Misthalin Mystery. These three quests reward the player with a nice boost to the Cooking and Crafting skills, which is nice to get early on.

The Misthalin Misthalin and Karamja Karamja areas are unlocked for free, additional areas can be unlocked by completing Tasks.

Moving on, it is up to the player what path they choose to take. This will depend on personal preference, as well as any Relic and Area choices they have made.

Relics

Relics are powerful buffs that are unlocked with League Points. Upon completing the tutorial, players are presented with three Relics to choose from without the need for points. There are eight tiers of relics in total, as well as an additional passive buff automatically unlocked at each tier. Each tier corresponds to a different aspect of the game: skilling, teleportation, combat, and utility.

Once players choose a Relic of a tier, they will be permanently unlocked, but cannot change their Relic selection for that tier.

Relic tiers will fall into the following tiers, each with a passive unlock for all players who reach that tier:

Passive Relic effects and Relic Categories
Tier 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Tasks

Tasks in the Trailblazer Reloaded League will function quite similarly to those of the previous leagues, awarding points for both small and large achievements. Tasks will be either global (unlockable in any region, or requiring multiple regions) or regional (requiring a player choice to unlock, besides for Misthalin Misthalin or Karamja Karamja). As before, league points will be used to unlock relics upon reaching a certain threshold (the points will be kept).

Similar to Trailblazer League, tasks will also be used to reach regional unlocks, requiring 60, 140, and 300 task completions to unlock a third, fourth, and fifth region, respectively. Players should plan carefully early on to keep a focus both on completing more difficult tasks to gain relics, as well as a good number easier tasks to unlock more areas. As an alternative, focusing solely on points to unlock relics quickly or completing tasks to unlock more regions are viable strategies as well.

The points awarded for each difficulty level are as follows:

Difficulty Points
Easy 10
Medium 40
Hard 80
Elite 200
Master 400

Skill training

Training Skills in Trailblazer League can be very similar to that of regular ironman accounts, depending on what combination of areas are chosen as unlocks. Players will begin with level 3 Herblore, 5 Runecraft, and level 10 Agility to enable Herblore training, Runecraft training, and the use of the Draynor Village Rooftop Course.

Experience received for training any skill will be multiplied by 5x the usual rate. By unlocking relic tiers 2, 5, and 7, this multiplier can be increased to 8x, 12x, and 16x, respectively.

See the following guides for training each skill:

Quests

Due to the area-restricted nature of the Trailblazer League, many quests which require multiple areas to complete will be unlocked automatically as the player unlocks new regions, allowing immediate access to much of a region's key content. Other quests will be completable within a certain combination of regions but not others, while some quests will be impossible to complete, requiring four or more unlockable regions to reach all locations or collect all the items needed.

Quest experience rewards will be multiplied with the same multiplier as other experience gains. Auto-unlocked quests will not reward experience. However, if the player completes a quest before it is auto-unlocked, they will receive the rewards for that quest.

Money making

Coins are useful for many things within Trailblazer League such as buying runes and ammunition from shops, planks and other construction materials from sawmills and tanning hides with a Tanner.

Depending on the region selection (or combination of regions), there may be more expensive choices available as well, such as a dragon scimitar from Daga's Scimitar Smithy or a Dwarf cannon if Kandarin Kandarin and Asgarnia Asgarnia are both taken. Imbuing equipment at the Nightmare Zone (points will be available at a cost of 1 coin each) will be available after taking Kandarin Kandarin and a region with imbuable items (such as Fremennik Fremennik or Morytania Morytania). Players in Tirannwn Tirannwn will need 900,000 coins or 78 smithing, 78 crafting and 40 crystal shards to buy or create a new Crystal bow, due to Roving elves being autocompleted.

Getting around

Every player begins the league with the passive relic effect of infinite run energy. Once an area is unlocked, players will be able to teleport to a predetermined spot in the region, with no cooldown. Access to teleportation methods within a locked region are unavailable.

The Fairytale II quest is automatically completed and the Leagues Tutor will provide a dramen staff, granting the ability to use fairy rings.

The following relics make getting around easier:

Items

Similar to quests, access to many items will be heavily restricted based on region choices. Some items will be obtainable only through unlocking multiple regions. The Slayer helmet, for example, will only be available with Morytania Morytania unlocked.

Other items, such as Barrows gloves will be completely unobtainable without unlocking more regions than are available. Be sure to check area and skill guides to ensure that you do not lose access to items you may need, or aren't picking a region for an item that will not be available.

Notable unobtainable items

This is a list of useful non-obvious items which are unable to be obtained due to requiring more than three region unlocks or disabled content.
