Team cape

Team capes (also known as Wilderness capes) are purchased for 50 coins from various Cape merchants. Alternatively, three (Team cape i, Team cape x, and Team cape zero) are obtainable only through the completion of a Clue scroll (easy) or via the Grand Exchange.

Another player with the same team cape equipped will show up on the minimap as a blue dot rather than white, and the left-click "Attack" option will be moved to a right-click, as if the other player is of higher level than the player. These capes are primarily used as a precaution between adventuring friends and player killers in a group or clan.

Team capes, regular coloured capes, and the cabbage cape provide the same bonuses and weigh the same, making all three types of capes the best-in-slot cape for free-to-play.

There are currently 50 cape designs made up of five different colours: pink, yellow, blue, green, and red; and 10 different designs.

The capes are numbered based on colour as follows:

At current prices, the cheapest cape is the Team-36 cape (17) and the most expensive cape is the Team-15 cape (1,179).

Trivia

• When first released, pink team capes were initially white team capes, but were changed to pink due to looking similar to the cape of legends.
• The first letters of each of the sellers of the team capes (when read in order of 1-10) spells "WILDERNESS".
