Early Skill Training

1-55 Magic

Right off of Tutorial Island it's recommended to obtain your free mind and air runes from the magic tutor. 13 magic will carry you through all of the questing on an 807 so try to get these as often as possible. Most money will be spent on fire strike casts early game. You will be safespotting Zamorak warriors for a Rune Scimitar and Ogress warriors for gp, arrows, and runes. Everything you kill early game should be killed using magic to maximize experience and require no food if safespotting. To keep up with rune costs see the money making section below.

It's recommended to find books at the Arceuus Library at around 30-40 magic (xp rewards scale off of level, so don't go too early!) because it will reward you with some great magic experience at zero cost. Use the Runelite library plugin.

1-43 Prayer

Hardcore Ironmen can skip this prayer step but will have to be more cautious during the questing portion of the account.

It's highly recommended as a regular ironman or ultimate ironman to spend the first few hours getting 43 prayer. The best method at this stage is to world-hop at the boneyard while picking up big bones. There's a single big bone spawn close to the Ferox Enclave that typically doesn't attract the aggressive level 25 skeletons. (You may need to world-hop a few tiles south of the spawn to be safe and move up each time) As a regular Ironman you can bank at the Ferox Enclave before making your trips to the Chaos Temple. You will need on average 480 big bones to get 43 prayer using the wilderness chaos altar. This equals 17-18 trips of big bones for Ultimate Ironmen. The experience required for 43 can be lowered slightly by obtaining the 12,125 experience rewarded from Holy Grail and Restless Ghost. (It's recommended to complete Priest in Peril post 75 combat but this also gives 1,406 prayer experience)

Don't forget to utilise the Rejuvenation pool at Ferox Enclave. If attempting to stockpile free mind and air runes it's also recommended to utilise the Lumbridge home teleport every 30 minutes to obtain free runes from the mage tutor. Since the minigame teleport cooldown is only 25 minutes you can easily get back to the boneyard by minigame teleporting to Ferox Enclave.

Early-game Food

Early game food is thankfully cheap so it's recommended to stockpile some of these to get you through questing.

Questing

If you followed the Magic and Prayer methods above you should be ready to take on almost any 807 available quest. To see a full list of available quests return to the top of this page. The intended goal of questing on an 807 is to unlock 50 quest points for the first and final slayer block. Alongside the slayer block these quests will provide a big boost to your stats and open up certain areas for clues later on.

If you're not 13 magic yet start with a quest like Witch's Potion or Imp Catcher to get a small experience reward and experience from killing the imps. If you need money for runes the 10k from the stronghold of security would be worthwhile to get at this stage.

Good stat boosting Quests to do right after 13 magic are Witch's House, Waterfall Quest, Merlins Crystal for the Excalibur, Vampire Slayer, and Tree Gnome Village for Spirit Trees.

Quests to Avoid

Quests to Postpone

Transportation

Early game transportation can be a bit of a pain so it's recommended to focus on training magic for standard teleports. Below are some of the other recommended early game items or teleports to keep in mind.

Money Making

It's very easy to find yourself short on gp early game, especially if you're playing a Hardcore Ironman. All of the methods listed below will hopefully get you to a self-sustaining point.

Steel Platelegs or Platebodies Spawn

Both of these are good methods but steel platelegs are the easiest. It's recommended to have levelled hitpoints a bit since there is a chance a level 34 spider will attack you. Use the Clan Wars minigame teleport to enter Ferox Enclave and walk North-East to the Wilderness Ruins. (Walking in f2p worlds will avoid the green dragons north of Ferox Enclave) The steel plateleg spawn is in a small building to the east.

Once you have enough platelegs, simply sell them to Louie Legs in Al Kharid or Blair's Armour in Shayzien. Steel platelegs will sell at these stores for 650 or 600gp each respectively.

Steel Platebodies are a bit harder to get to in the level 45 wilderness Lava Maze. You will need a slash weapon or knife to get there. There are many higher level monsters here so it is recommended to have a higher hitpoints level or bring food. These platebodies sell to horviks armour shop in varrock for 1,200 gp each.

Using a looting bag will nearly double the gp earned each trip.

Pest Control

Requires 40 combat to start.

Most 807s wait until 100 combat to do Pest Control but it is an easy source of gp early game. You earn gp each game based on your combat level (10x). This will also get your closer to full void knight armour (1250 points for all three helmets, top, robe, and gloves) which is recommended to unlock eventually anyways.

The novice boat can be somewhat dead and full of bots so try to do this at peak times of the day or wait until medium boat.

Zamorak Warriors

Located at the Ourina Altar these safe spottable level 82 Zamorak Warriors are more gp/hr than Ogress Warriors at a low magic level. They will often drop rune daggers, rune scimitars, adamant longswords, and raw gp.

Minigame teleport to Castle Wars or walk from Ardounge after taking the Rimmington ship which costs 30gp.

Ogress Warriors

One of the best ways to jumpstart your 807 account is to kill Ogress Warriors. You don't have to complete Corsair Curse to begin safe spotting these you just need to give the toothpick back to Chief Tess. It is recommended to finish the quest though so you can use the Corsair Cove bank.

Ogress drop a good amount of nature, law, chaos and mind runes. They also drop alchables like rune battleaxes or rune full helms. These seem to be break even around 50 magic using fire strike.

Note: It is highly recommended to wear best equip-able mage gear (otherwise you will splash a significant amount.)

Low-Alchemy / Fountain of Rune

Don't forget to utilize low alchemy at level 21. If you don't have nature runes you could go to the fountain of rune and alch your loot for free.

Warriors Guild

In order for the guild's door guard Ghommal to allow you entry into the guild, a player's Attack and Strength levels must add up to at least 130, or they must have one of these skills at level 99. Unlocking the Warriors guild should be one of the main focuses after questing and getting comfortable with an 807 account build. It will unlock access to one of the best food sources to transition to mid game content.

If you want to rush warriors guild you can quickly start killing sand crabs with the gear and stats you've acquired from questing.

Unlocks

Gaining Tokens as an 807

There are two effective methods worth using as an 807 to gain Warrior Guild tokens.

The best method is reanimation. As calculated by the main Warriors' Guild Wiki, it states that black armour provides the best token/hp ratio. However, 32 quest points are required in order to buy a black full helm from Valaine in the champions guild. A black platebody can be purchased from Horvik in Varrock, and black platelegs can be bought from either Valaine, or louie legs in Al Kharid.

If you do not have 32 quest points, the next best option is to buy a mithril platebody from horvik in varrock, mithril platelegs from louie legs in Al Kharid, and a mithril full helm in barbarian village. If you are short on gp you can safespot kill Burthope guards for a mithril full helm and mithril platebody. Using the animation room and killing the level 80 Animated Armour will earn you 25 tokens per kill. It's recommended to use the newly unlocked food shop and potion shop nearby to sustain kills even at lower levels. If you're struggling just use a lower level armour variant or prayer protections.

The second method for lower level 807s would be to use the Catapult Room for about 750 tokens and 7500 defence experience per hour. This one might be useful if you're low defence and want to hit 40 or 60 before you start grinding the defenders.

Early Game Clues

Doing Easy and Medium clues throughout the early stage of the game can reward you with some great gear but it isn't necessary as most of the amulets that you do them for will come from other sources during mid-game. Here's a list of items to keep an eye out for and some methods to obtain clues quickly.

It's not recommended to do beginner clues since there's no beneficial loot and they require a lot of skilling checks.

Easy Clues

Obtain easy clues by killing Minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security (Skull Sceptre (i) is great for these) or Goblins in Lumbridge (chance at goblin champion scroll)

Medium Clues

Killing Falador Guards is the best method for medium clues.

Early-game Bossing

Crazy Archaeologist

It's worthwhile to kill Crazy Archaeologist early-game since your combat level will be lower and keep pkers from attacking you. All you need for Crazy Archeologist is Fire Bolt and Protect from Missiles but some 807s will grind out 50 or 60 magic before going. You can get multiple kills per trip if using the chaos temple to restore prayer. Zamorak robes, a fire staff, runes, and food are all that's needed.

Significant drops from the Crazy Archeologist:

Obor

Not really worth killing but can be useful for rune equipment, alchable items, and clues.

Bryopthia

Not really worth killing but can be useful for rune equipment, alchable items, and clues.
