Bronze knives are the lowest level throwing knives available, and do not require a Ranged level to wield. They can be poisoned, and due to being one-handed, can be wielded alongside a shield.

Bronze knives can be created from a bronze bar at level 7 Smithing. Each bar makes 5 knives, and grants the player 12.5 Smithing experience. The knives can also be purchased from Martin Thwait's Lost and Found shop in the Rogues' Den, requiring 50 Thieving and 50 Agility.

Throwing knives are among the fastest weapons in the game (along with darts), and are commonly used for player-killing, training Ranged, or tagging enemies for barraging.
