Stuffed hydra heads are the result of taking Alchemical hydra heads to the Taxidermist in Canifis after paying her 50,000 coins for the stuffing service. Players may unstuff the head at any time should they wish to do so.

Once stuffed, the head can be mounted in a Skill Hall in a player-owned house with level 82 Construction, producing mounted Alchemical hydra heads. The head can only be mounted once, and will not be returned when the mounted Alchemical hydra head is destroyed.
