A big harpoonfish is an abnormally large harpoonfish that can be received from the reward pool in the Ruins of Unkah. It can be traded for 25 soaked pages by talking to the retired sailor inside the fishing store in the Ruins of Unkah.

It can be mounted in a skill hall in a player-owned house. Before it can be mounted, it must be stuffed by the Taxidermist in Canifis, where she will charge 3,500 coins and return a stuffed big harpoonfish to the player. They can then mount the fish using 2 teak planks, which requires 66 Construction. When players take it to the Taxidermist, she will exclaim "Goodness me! That thing's more of a weapon than a fish!"
