The amulet of avarice is an amulet that can be received as a drop from revenants found within the Revenant Caves. The amulet has the same combat bonuses as the amulet of glory, but has an additional 20% increase in accuracy and damage when fighting revenants, similar to a Salve amulet. The effects of the amulet do not stack with the Slayer helmet (i).

When worn, all drops received from NPCs within the Revenant Caves and Wilderness Slayer Cave, will be in the form of bank notes, except for secondary supply rolls and uniques. However, equipping the amulet will cause the player to become skulled, similar to the cape of skulls.

Attempting to equip the amulet gives a warning telling the player that this will happen. The skull cannot be removed until the amulet is unequipped, after which it behaves like a normal PK skull and disappears after twenty minutes.

If the amulet is worn while killing the Revenant maledictus as a top-damaging player, they will obtain the Forinthry Surge skull for 30 minutes, a variant that provides an additional 15% accuracy and damage boost when fighting revenants. Taking off the amulet will automatically remove this buff.
