A rabbit snare is a type of trap used in the Hunter skill. The rabbit snaring technique is used to catch white rabbits. With the required Hunter level, completion of the Eagles' Peak quest and a ferret in the inventory, the player may set up a rabbit snare and flush a rabbit hole to trap a white rabbit. When the rabbit passes the trap, it gets caught.

To use a rabbit snare, set it up on a path that a rabbit could take while going from a rabbit hole to another rabbit hole. Then, while a ferret is in the inventory, select the "flush" option on the rabbit hole. The ferret will run in and hopefully run the rabbit into the snare. Note: the ferret may run away, so it is advised to bring multiple ferrets.

Rabbit snares can be bought for 18 coins from Aleck's Hunter Emporium. in Yanille, the Nardah Hunter Shop in Nardah, or 19 coins from Imia's Supplies within the Hunter Guild. Rabbit snares can also be found in a Hunter kit, obtained by casting Hunter Kit (spell) (1 per kit).
