Puro-Puro is the magical home plane of the implings, who are infamous for stealing various items from the citizens of Gielinor before fleeing to Puro-Puro; however, not all implings manage to find their way back and may remain trapped on Gielinor. In recent times, the portals have remained open for long enough to allow adventurers to find their way to Puro-Puro.
The labyrinth of wheat that composes Puro-Puro is the main location of the Impetuous Impulses minigame.
Completion of the Lost City quest is not required to gain entry if a player uses one of the crop circles located around the world. Using one of these overworld crop circles also gives the 'Farmer's Affinity' bonus, granting players a 30-minute buff to the speed at which they traverse the barriers of magical wheat, allowing them to chase after implings with greater ease. Talking to the wandering impling in Zanaris will reveal where the crop circle is currently located in the overworld.
Getting there
Player can reach Puro-Puro by stepping through the centre of a crop circle, provided they have at least level 17 Hunter (not boostable). For those who have completed the Lost City quest, a permanent portal to Puro-Puro can be found in the wheat field east of the fairy ring in Zanaris.
Crop circles will also randomly appear in certain wheat fields on Gielinor, which players can find which via the right-click "Check-gates" option on the wandering impling in the Zanaris wheat field. These crop circles are temporary and will stay in the same location for around 15 minutes. The crop circle will then move to the next wheat field according to a fixed rotation:

The Maze
Impetuous Impulses
Puro-Puro features a large square maze consisting of hedges made out of magical wheat, inhabited by a large concentration of implings of varying types. Chasing after these mischievous implings in order to acquire their treasure forms the basis of the Impetuous Impulses minigame. Upon entering Puro-Puro, a gnome investigator called the Elnock Inquisitor can be encountered near the crop circle at the heart of the maze, who will give the player advice and instructions for this minigame, as well as provide equipment that can prove useful during the chase.
Unlike elsewhere on Gielinor, impling jars must be used when catching implings in Puro-Puro.
Walls of magical wheat
Due to the magical nature of Puro-Puro, the maze is constantly shifting, with new hedges and passages appearing every few minutes. The player's mini-map will also malfunction when in this realm, causing it to fully darken, and thus provide no assistance in navigating the labyrinth. Rows of wheat form the walls of this maze, which occasionally wither away to open up a new path, or rapidly grow back to full height and block the way through.
These shifts can only occur along fixed sections within the maze, which are outlined below:
Template:Map:Puro-Puro intermittent magical wheat locations
Players may also opt to take a more direct approach, by simply pushing through the walls of magical wheat rather than navigate around them. The speed at the which the player wades through the thick hedge depends on their Strength skill, which increases their chance of efficiently traversing the obstacle. Three different outcomes can be rolled, each resulting in a different push duration: the most efficient one will last 6 ticks (3.6 seconds); the medium one 8 ticks (4.8 seconds); while the slowest will take a total of 10 ticks (6 seconds).
The first two of these outcomes will also grant a small amount of Strength experience, provided that the player has talked to Elnock Inquisitor to opt in to receive Strength experience.
Farmer's Affinity
If the player has travelled through a crop circle randomly appearing in a certain wheat field on Gielinor, they will be granted the Farmer's Affinity bonus. This bonus allows faster movement through Puro-Puro's wheat barriers for 30 minutes. The effect this bonus has is to speed up pushing through magical wheat by exactly 3 ticks compared to the normal push time. This means that the fastest push will now take 3 ticks (1.8 seconds), compared to the normal fastest push of 6 ticks (3.6 seconds). The slowest push will now take 7 ticks (4.2 seconds), instead of the normal 10 ticks (6 seconds).
The Farmer's Affinity timer continues to run after leaving Puro-Puro, so it is possible to enter a crop circle to get the bonus, leave, then re-enter via the Zanaris wheat field and benefit from whatever bonus time remains.
Implings
Types
Puro-Puro contains all of the implings that can be caught by players using the Hunter skill, with the sole exception of the crystal impling, which may only be caught within the walls of Prifddinas. For a detailed list of the implings that can be found here together with their characteristics, see the main article.
Spawn mechanics
Puro-Puro has a separate set of spawn mechanics than the implings that spawn on the surface of Gielinor. Rather than operating on a thirty minute cycle, the invisible NPC's that spawn implings immediately respawn when the implings they produced are caught, allowing players to catch them faster and in greater amounts than compared to chasing after the implings scattered across the overworld. For a full breakdown of both the types of impling spawns that are present in Puro-Puro, as well as how they operate, see the spawn mechanics section of the main article.
