Dagannoth Kings
The Dagannoth Kings (commonly abbreviated DKs) are a group of three dagannoths that live deep in the cave on Waterbirth Island which is a multiway combat area. They are all level 303, and also represent the combat triangle. Each of the kings uses a different combat style, is weak against the type that defeats them on the combat triangle, and has a high defence against all others. They all have their own, unique ring drops, with Rex having two - these rings give the second best bonuses for their respective combat styles in the ring slot. All three kings have the ability to drop the dragon axe, and also drop dagannoth bones.
- Dagannoth Rex - Attacks with Melee and is weak to Magic. Unique loot includes: berserker ring and warrior ring.
- Dagannoth Prime - Attacks with Magic and is weak to Ranged. Unique loot includes: seers ring and mud battlestaff.
- Dagannoth Supreme - Attacks with Ranged and is weak to Melee. Unique loot includes: archers ring and Seercull.
Killing all three Dagannoth Kings is a requirement for the Elite Fremennik Diary.
Getting there
The Dagannoth Kings reside in the sixth level of the Waterbirth Island Dungeon. Players will need to get past a series of doors and then run through several chambers of the dungeon to reach them.
There are several methods to quickly getting to Waterbirth Island, with the Waterbirth Teleport from the Lunar spellbook, a portal (nexus) in a POH directed to the island, or using an enchanted lyre to teleport to the island directly (after completion of the Hard Fremennik Diary) being the fastest ways. Alternative ways to reach the island include teleporting to Rellekka with a Rellekka teleport tablet, an enchanted lyre or the Fremennik sea boots 2/3/4, and travelling there via Jarvald.
Without stamina or super energy potions, it is recommended to pause at the following spots to restore run energy, as the trek is very long.
- Before entering the dungeon.
- Before using the rune thrownaxe's special attack.
- In any of the rooms where giant rock crabs are.
- In the area where the rock lobsters are.
- Past the boss' ladder, where there is a safe zone with a crevice to peek the boss' lairs.
At this final step, restore health, prayer, and run energy as needed before attempting to enter the boss lair.
There are two high-level Agility shortcuts that players can use to reach the kings' lair more quickly. The first one, a set of climbable rocks to the south of Jarvald on Waterbirth Island, requires level 85 Agility and takes players to the cave entrance connecting to the ladder room, bypassing the need for a rune thrownaxe and a pet rock or another player. The second is a one-way crevice on the eastern wall past the first giant rock crabs after the aforementioned ladder room, requires level 81 Agility and takes players to the penultimate chamber before the kings' lair. Both of these requirements are boostable.
Slayer lair
The Dagannoth Kings have a Slayer-only lair for players who have been assigned dagannoths or a Dagannoth King slayer assignment. All players can enter the lair, but will only be able to damage the kings if they are on one of the two tasks.

Trivia
- Each of the three kings' names come from a Latin word: supremus means 'highest', primus means 'first' and rex means 'King'.
- The kings are an allegory for the game Rock, Paper, Scissors: each of the kings' initials corresponds to one of Rock (Rex), Paper (Prime) or Scissors (Supreme), with their attack styles corresponding to which of the three options beats which, as per the combat triangle.
