Rubies are precious gems used mainly in Crafting. They can be cut from uncut rubies with a chisel at level 34 Crafting, yielding 85 experience.

A one-time reward of 2 cut rubies can be obtained by using a chisel and hammer on Thammaron's throne during The Golem quest. Completing Olaf's Quest rewards 4 cut rubies.

In exchange for 250 cut rubies, 500 fire runes (combination runes will not work), 100 cosmic runes, and 1 Digsite pendant of any charge Curator Haig Halen will award the player with a Curator's medallion. The medallion is needed to build a Mounted digsite pendant in the portal nexus of a player-owned house.
